Case Study
VoiceVoice
VoiceVoice is an innovative video conferencing platform that uses pre-recorded content and automation to facilitate live group discussions, training sessions, and interactive events. I handled the complete user experience design and product management, designing the application's features and interface, creating technical specifications for the development team, and designing the company website.
Application Design

The CEO had a vision for video conferences that could run themselves using pre-recorded content and automation - something uncommon in the video conferencing space. Since there weren't existing patterns for automated facilitation interfaces, I had to figure out the interactions from scratch. I spent my time creating functional specifications, user flows, and prototypes for features like choose-your-own-adventure conversation flows and automated group management.
I handled both the strategic planning and detailed design work - writing specs for developers, designing user interfaces, and building HTML prototypes to test concepts. The challenge was balancing the CEO's ambitious ideas with what users could actually understand and what the development team could realistically build.
Website Design

I built the entire web presence to introduce a concept that had never existed before: automated live event facilitation. Since there was no existing reference point, I focused on showing rather than telling, using animations and video demonstrations to make the abstract concept tangible. I designed and developed the marketing site, user registration and onboarding flows, dynamic pages showcasing live platform events, and custom branded landing pages for high-profile clients.

Customer Campaigns

VoiceVoice also offered graphic and campaign design services beyond the core platform, and I handled all visual design for customer events and campaigns. This included creating campaign materials for high-profile organizations like Women's Campaign Fund, Women's March, Greenpeace, and Sandy Hook Promise. Depending on the client's needs, I either developed complete campaign identity systems from scratch or adapted their existing brand elements for VoiceVoice events. The work ranged from designing custom landing pages and promotional graphics to creating presentation slides and video materials for the events themselves.
